About the Club

The Shivdurg Darshan Samiti aims to promote awareness about the historical, cultural, and architectural significance of Maharashtra’s forts, conduct cleanliness and conservation drives, and inspire students to uphold the values and legacy of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj through educational activities, field visits, and cultural events. 

Club Vision and Mission.

VISION-

To preserve and protect the historic forts of Maharashtra associated with Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, while fostering awareness, cultural pride, and sustainable heritage for future generations.

MISSION

1.To promote awareness about the historical, cultural, and architectural significance of Maharashtra’s forts through educational activities and field visits.

2.To actively participate in the preservation and conservation of forts by conducting cleanliness drives, tree plantation, and awareness campaigns in accordance with government guidelines.

3.To document and research the history, structure, and importance of forts, creating valuable knowledge resources for students.

4.To encourage sustainable and eco-friendly tourism practices that protect the natural and historical environment.

5.To organize workshops, seminars, and guest lectures with experts to inspire students and deepen their understanding of history.

6.To promote cultural values and the legacy of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj through events, activities, and educational outreach.
